The difference and characteristics of N2XBY cable and N2XRY cable:
1. Advantages of N2XBY cable: A steel belt is added to the sheath layer, which has better resistance to pressure and effectively prevents accidental damage and rodent bites. It is suitable for direct buried laying and laying through pipes.
The allowable long-term working temperature of the conductor is 900C, and the allowable short-circuit temperature of the conductor is: 2500C (the longest duration does not exceed 5S)
2. Advantages of N2XRY cable: A layer of steel wire is added to the sheath layer, which has better tensile strength and effectively prevents damage from falling objects and rodent bites.
Suitable for overhead laying and vertical laying.

Because steel wire armored cables are more complicated in technology, they are generally more expensive than steel tape armored cables.
3. Compared with N2XBY cable, N2XRY cable has better water resistance and low temperature resistance and poor flame retardant performance. However, because N2XRY cable produces less harmful effects in a fire environment, it is more environmentally friendly, and the price will be higher than N2XBY.
